There are many ways to stay fit, for example, exercises like walking, running, squats etc. can help you stay in good health.  In this post we’ll look at some very Simple Tips for Fitness and Exercise Success.

We have all heard lots of exercise tips over the years, much of the fitness tips likely conflicting from one source to another.  The fact is you don’t need huge amounts of knowledge and expertise to get fit or to stay fit.  Simple concept is, eat healthy, sleep well, stay hydrated and exercise regularly -That’s it!

However, let me provide some fitness and exercise tips that I have learnt over the years.

Focus on Cardio to a better Heart

To get a leaner body and a healthy heart. You need to do bursts of high-intensity training (HIT) effort combined with slower phases, can be called as recovery phase.

10 to 20 minutes of high-intensity training performed regularly can burn as many calories as an hour of traditional slog on a steady-state cardio machine like treadmill.

The benefit of HIT unlike the slow slog is that intervals can keep your body burning the fat long after your workout finishes.

Train the Core

The core is the mid-section of your body and it is much more than just the six-pack of muscles.

The core is a system of muscles that wraps around your entire torso, helping to stabilize your body, shielding your spine from injury and keeping you upright.

Warm up and fire these muscles into action before every exercise to keep your back healthy, with a healthier core will give you a steady balance and help maintain a rigid body position.

Do more in less time at the gym to get fit

Try not to just focus on single-joint exercises like biceps curls and triceps extensions. Unless you have hours to spend in the gym, get more done in less time. Go for routines that exercise multiple muscles and joints like doing a mixture of squats to build your legs and back, running fast on the treadmill to develop your cardio, then move onto bent-over row to build your biceps and your back, and then finish off with a narrow-grip bench press to train your triceps while sculpting your chest.

Make use of different types exercises rather than spending allot of time on one type, unless you want to develop more muscles.  If you just want to get fit and have less time then, mix it up and do different fitness activities.

Summary

There are many ways to get fit, walking, running, going to the gym or even hoovering at home can make you fit.  The point is to do it with regularity, making sure you increase your heart rate to the point where you feel exertion.  Stretch your muscles daily, eat a good healthy diet, make sure to get enough sleep and drink plenty of water.

Give yourself 6-8 weeks of this and you’ll start to see real health benefits, your stamina will increase and gradually you will feel better overall.
